SPINdesign Selected for Microsoft Project

PricewaterhouseCoopers has chosen SPINdesign, a Gloucester, Ma.-based web design firm, to assist in the development of an intranet application for the Microsoft Corporation, the world's largest computer software developer and manufacturer. SPINdesign will provide creative services, develop navigational elements and code, and design the user interface for the Microsoft application.

"This is a challenging opportunity. PricewaterhouseCoopers and Microsoft are both industry leaders with extensive technical capabilities. We look forward to providing the creative interface design that will make the application effective and enjoyable from a users' perspective," said SPINdesign President Mary Desmond.

PricewaterhouseCoopers chose SPINdesign for the project based on the firm's interface design expertise and history of successful technical partnerships. The company previously had worked with Keene, Inc., IBM and numerous other consulting firms.

"In a field of increasing specialization, it's essential for us to provide both superior design and collaboration skills. With multiple service providers involved in a project, having processes in place to work together is critical," said SPINdesign's director of new business development, Derek Russell.

SPINdesign is an interactive design firm providing Internet-based solutions and print services for medium to large companies. Founded in 1998, SPINdesign integrates the creative and technical skills of Web consultants, graphic designers, copywriters, and programmers to develop highly effective, interactive solutions.

SPINdesign's client roster includes Varian Semiconductors, CitiStreet, Joker Cigarette Rolling Papers, Executive Sports International, and NECX.
